Petland has continued its expansion with the recent opening of a store in Knoxville. The opening is part of Petland's strategic five-year plan for domestic store growth. Additional locations are under development. Franchisee Greg Bearden is eager to work with local animal shelters, pet rescue groups and members of the local community to find homes for homeless pets via the Adopt-A-Pet programme at his store in Knoxville.
